Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning. –Rick Cook, The Wizardry Compiled

School/Work

I haven’t had a lot of spare time lately to write articles, or even to keep up on posting my link-round ups. To be honest, I haven’t been surfing enough to generate a decent list either.

I am working on some revisions to the main page, which will seperate links from articles, and automagically do my round-ups for me. Also, I have about 90% of the code ready to finally present something on the photo page.

In the meantime, here is a ridiculous poem I had to write for my ‘Work and Society’ class:

My clothing is stained, my shoes soaking wet,
I guess I’ll go shopping, once I get out of debt.

The pipes spit out steam that boils the air,
I sweat and I suffer, till I shave off my hair.

Last week a valve broke, now a spill on the floor,
If this isn’t annoying, it’s surely a bore.

With a pain in my legs, and sting in my neck,
Its four days till the weekend, and ten till a check.

Hey Jack!
So you are in school now, i like your poem! it’s fun…
Our garden is going well, we are growing beats, carrots, and squash...and possibly corn (despite all the haters).

We have no furniture, we sold it all and will be buying some within the next few/weeks or month...once we get couches we need to get you and lindha down here to hang out.

all the best.
